# MakeCode Arcade: Block Based Coding!

**Course Overview**

This ongoing weekly class takes you step by step through the world of coding using Microsoft MakeCode — one of the most fun and beginner-friendly platforms out there. MakeCode is fully in browser, no download necessary. Each session builds on the last, so you're always making progress and never falling behind.

**What Will We Do?**

- Build real, playable games inside MakeCode from your very first session
- Learn new coding concepts every week through hands-on projects
- Go from dragging blocks to writing real code at your own pace
- Swap ideas, get unstuck, and grow alongside a small group of fellow builders
- Each week builds on the last so your skills actually stick
- Walk away every session with something you made yourself

**What Do You Need?**

- A computer with a working camera and microphone
- A mouse is highly recommended
